experimenting with the trasy park pattern

Just trying a differnt setup with a modified park pattern. I dug 5 targets and 4 turned out to be good. Well I dont consider a corroded zinc to be good but you know what I mean......;o)

Pretty incredible Bill, both you with your creativity and the E-Trac getting coins around all that iron! I have not been using TTF much as the Fe number just drops to much beyond 6" in my soil but I still cross check targets with it.

How do you like that coil (and which coil is it) compared to the 6X8 SEF?

Did you try seeing how dsicriminate sounded on any of those targets with your park pattern?

Good job,
EMS

I knew in this area there was or is a ton of nails and a lot of shallow clad too. I was just messing around. I will do some more testing and switch between my regular pattern and this one. The coil was the 6" excelerator. It seems to work pretty good but may not go quite as deep as the 6x8 but close.

Really Interesting

Do you believe that the regular coil would not be as effective with your modified program?

I look forward to more video's on this topic and as always Bill, your a treasure!

Thanks and Regards

Man. Im bill S junky. I love his vids they are such great learning tools. I was out yesterday with TTF I dug 8 holes and got skunked on all of them. All of them were just like in your vid. I am thinking I may have not dug deep enough. The important question I have bill is, that, were u getting a high tone both directions or just one? I was getting one way signals that were perfect, the other way were iron.

What you saw on the video was it. I did not turn and go different directons or really analyze it much. If it sounded like it had potential I dug it. I will go back out again and use the same pattern and try to dig some more targets on video.

That's pretty interesting. I have a site in mind where an old house burned down that might benefit from this approach. If I get back there I'm going to give it a try!

Thanks for your efforts.

Bill what lines did you open up

Watching the video, and seeing the numbers before you started to dig, I said out loud "It's a penny." I knew it. I saw the Fe strike 12 a few times, and your Co numbers were 43 and bouncing around. Those chewed-up pennies always do that. The wheats will fall in that range too. Great video. Thanks. Your trashy park pattern helped my pull 18 silver coins out of my park in the last two months.

I too am curious about this program and the stock coil. anyone try it? I tried TTF only once when I first got my E-trac, but now I may be ready for it as I understand the machine alot better. I was using TTF with the stock coin program, but now see why Iron would have to be opened up.

Fired89: I just took the trashy park pattern and opened up all the iron areas that were disc out from the bottom of the open coins area. Make sens?

Good call Ronfin......;o)

Thats awesome......

I hunted in your park pattern last wk and worked great but I used tt conduct I usd two tone for all my setting

I can see the inline probe is a big plus when in the iron.
You might miss out on something if using a single tone probe.

Bill when you use ttc with you park pattern the nickels
Will have just a lower tt sound then the rest of the tt

And your park pattern with coin hunting in ttc I only look at the number when
The sounds a little diff.

Is the trashy park pattern available for download anywhere?
Thanks...

Nice test Bill!

I might give this a whirl when I try out TTF. Oddly enough I have that same 6" coil too

Happy hunting,
Brian
