Experimenting with The Nikon Creative Light System

2 sb800's communicating with each other.
1 as Master and 1 as Remote.
Fully integrated as a system. Expandable for more lights.
I like it alot.

I'm looking to get a couple of 1600's for basketball.

How does that work exactly? Is the first one attached to the cam as the master then a frequency sent from the first unit to the other as slave - or does the camera send the frequency and neither have to be attached to the cam?

This configuration is 1 SB800 on camera as Master and 1 SB800 off camera as Remote. It uses a special Nikon Infrared Pulse system to communicate.
Really cool stuff
