Experiementing with old Minolta Lenses..............

It is a gloomy, cool winter day, and with nothing to do short of getting into some mischief around here, I decided to experiment with an old Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm F1.4 prime lens. This lens was manufactured in 1977, back during to the peak of the film camera's era. The lens is completely manually operated and you must use an adapter to connect the lens to the camera. Having to manually focus was a little difficult for my old, tired eyes. I mounted the lens to my Sony A300 DSLR camera and used F5.6, 1/320, ISO 100, Manual Mode, over cast sky.

I have several more old Minolta Rokkor prime lenses that I want to experiment with in the next few days, especially a Minolta MD Rokkor 135mm F3.5 prime lens manufactured in 1979. I do find these old lenses interesting, and fun to use. Kelley (Texas) :)

Looks like the old lens did a great job taking a picture of that weed. My dad still doesn't like anyone blowing their seeds away, or kicking them. He hates weeds.:)
