How do I tell the new Mod.XS from the older Mod.Mine reads sept 0 when I turn it on. Thanks for your response.
 
Hello Snook,
I'm not an expert on the Explorer. However, I have owned both the older and my current newer model of this year. My newer Explorer shows the same as yours "Sept 0" when turned on.
I remember my first older Explorers screen seemed a little on the blue side while my newer units screen shows to be a light green.
