J. Vernon McGee used to say, "The only exercise some Christians get is running down others and jumping to conclusions."

I used to listen Pastor McGee every morning on my way to work! He never pulled any punches :) It's amazing that long after he died, his sermons (through the bible) are still being heard all over. Unfortunately, the only Christian radio station around here changed their schedule. Believe it or not, another Pastor McGee took over with a 15 minute sermon called the bible study hour (of all things). Great preacher and I felt like I knew this guy for all the times I listened to him. I actually wrote "Be Still" (from the 1st CD) after listening to one of his sermons one morning. Years later, the band went to play at a small church way out east of here. When I got to the church, I thought I recognized the name of it... then I saw the name of the Pastor; Pastor McGee! I got to meet him that night. I told him about how I used to listen to him and then played the song for him. It was really a great night.
