Exciting news for me and our Hobby

I have a booth at the Cobo Hall boat show in Detroit for 8 days. I will be displaying a couple of my WW1 practice bombs, the Lewis machine gun magazine and a few other of my finds. I also made a sandbox were kids can use one of my CZ-20's and find a coin each. So far I have almost 300 coins most of them buffalo nickles and I am waiting for more to arrive. I just finished the sand box yesterday.

The CZ-20 will stay on the posts and they will use the headphones and the detector. I have a bunch of shells I will be putting in the sand and a few other finishing touches after I get it there.

This picture is just before the finishing touches. I will hopefully post pictures of my booth right after I get it set up.

Fisher is sending me a few parts to make my machine look as much like new as it can and I have a lot of other interesting things to show in a showcase. I named my booth Beneath the Waves.

I will have dive flags on display and signs on what they mean. HOPEFULLY boaters will LOOK and I will get the message across to some that I do NOT want to become propeller bait.

Looks and sounds like a great project.:clapping:

You are a fine ambassador to the hobby Robert, great ideas for the show. Wish I lived closer.

H'mm, i see this as a 'double edged sword'.
Guess its great to get people exposed to and experience metal detecting. :)

On the other hand, now there's the potential for more people to get into the hobby which means more competition out there. :twodetecting::detecting::twodetecting: :twodetecting::detecting::twodetecting::detecting::help:
