Excited to hear of new Detector

It's about time another manufacturer is designing a simultaneous multi frequency Detector besides the big "M" multi frequency is the next best thing to pulse induction at the beach. Can't wait to see what they come up with and I sure hope the price is right!

I was watching for some report on your adventured at the coast but might have missed it, and I doubt the Kruzer and you are enjoying the current and predicted weather.

I have had excellent in-the-field results with mainly single frequency detectors most of my life, and did enjoy some hunts with a favorite BBS and a few FBS models., and so-so results from some simultaneous models from Edit, and Edit but not enough to out-perform what I otherwise use for the bulk of the sites I generally hunt. Densely iron infested places where those 'simultaneous' devices haven't performed that well.

And having enjoyed the selectable Multi-Frequency Impact, Multi-Kruzer and now Anfibio Multi, I really like their overall performance that allows me to be in control of the operating frequency I want to use. I have hunted with simultaneous devices, and currently hunt with a few people using a simultaneous Multi Frequency, but so far haven't been favorably impressed to rush out and invest in one. But I will agree that when the good folks at Nokta-Makro Detection Technologies put in the time and effort to develop and then get sample units out to evaluators for review, they will end up introducing a well engineered simultaneous device that should be very competitive. As a loyal Nokta-Makro fan I look forward to their finished product.

Price point is something I would expect to be a shockwave in the industry just as they have done and are doing with their current line of detectors. Very well built, excellent performance, yet reasonably priced.

What do you get if you cross a Chocolate Lab, a Vizsla Pointer and a wee dab of who-knows-what? You get Miss Rikki, my very intelligent, friendly and loyal pet-rescue dog. I'm in total agreement with you on this one. :clapping:

I have one of those big M detectors, but I am very interested in this Multi Kruzer. However, as far as the frequencies go, it is my understanding it is not automatic in selecting. It has to be manually selected. Is that the case? Having said that, regardless of manually selecting the frequencies, it does have some neat features my M detector does not.

Will it be a simultaneous frequency with a broader range of high and low. Something like 3 to 61khz with wireless coils? Yes it's in the making

We don't really know what the Nokta SMF detector will bring. It's my hope that their able to make something similar to the Equinox, but with a higher frequency then the 40kHz, I'd love to see something that could do 10/20/60kHz in SMF mode, with the ability to also run those frequencies individually. As I'm sure Nokta is finding out, it's not easy to design a SMF detector, code is massive compared to a standard single freq VLF detector. I don't care about wireless coils (actually don't want them to waste their time on that, it's extra engineering that's unnecessary and also adds additional failure points to the product).

If anyone could pull it off though, I think Nokta has the engineer resources to do so. I would love to be involved with the testing and feedback process. I understand SMF machines well, and their practical applications as it applies to salt water beach detecting, deep silver turf detecting, and relic hunting, especially in tough mineralized soils as well as in heavy iron. I do get the feeling that the folks at Nokta do not actually detect, and it sure makes a huge difference if the people designing the machines are also hard core detectorists, there's just nuances and practical use cases an engineer would get unless their also swinging the machine in the wild.
