Excellorator coil on E trac?

Howdy,
I was wondering if the 14 inch excellorator coil that works for the Explorer II will also work on the E trac or if I need to buy one specifically for the E trac? I have run this coil on the E trac and it performs alright and I would assume that they would be compatible but if any of you know for certian that the older excellorator is not designed for the new E trac then I will have an excuse to get me a 12x15 inch SEF *( dont let my wifey know) and I would be just fine going that direction. I can tell you that the 14 inch excellorator can find 10 inch items fairly easy in the right areas so but so does the SEF 10x12 that I use most the time. I want to make sure that the bigger coil (14 inch) excell is performing at the top of its design when I put it on for the deep stuff I am searching for.

Any reply will be appreciated, Thanks,

I don't recall reading any posts regarding the E-trac having difficulty with any FBS coils.
