Hi i was thinking about buying a Excellerator 14" Coil for the SE. I hear mixed reviews about the Excellerator Coils. how are they compared to factory minelab coils? how good is the pinpointing i see the pinpointing with the factory is great will i loose anything?

First, it pinpoints as well as I expected and as good as other coils.

I do find that I get a little extra depth over the stock coil. That is important in this difficult East Tennessee soil.

It is heavy, but you should expect that from a big coil.

The WOT 15" coil seems to have a broader fan base, but I'm happy with my EX 14" so far.

Good for open ground hunting with little trash. I found that trading back and forth between the stock and Ex 14" turned out to be more of a hassle than it was worth. The stock coil is tops in my book. I started with the 12.5" and went to the 14" cause I couldn't see much difference. Always looking for more, more, more. Well stock is better.
As for smaller coils, there all good from what I hear.
These views are just my opinion. Good luck.
