First off, I want to say that I am not a regular Garrett user although years ago, I loved the Master Hunter ADS 7 for relic hunting. I have nothing against Garrett machines, in fact I think they have several excellent models, one of which I have been testing on loan, at several Rev. War & Civil War relic sites.
Recently I had to send this loaner machine back to Garrett for repairs and I would just like to say that their service is second to none. The machine was repaired and returned promptly with excellent non-descript packaging (good to keep the package from getting stolen).
I wish every company had the same level of service as Garrett but unfortunately many do not. I will certainly recommend Garrett machines in the future not only for performance but for the support an owner gets from the parent company.
