EXcelerator EQ2/ACE 250 beach hunt!! :clapping:

I went out this morning to a local beach that is hunted extensively. Didn't think I would find much, but wanted to get some more time out with my new (used) EQ2 on my ACE 250. Well to my surprise I found quite a bit, and would have found more I am sure but ran outta time. I found most of the stuff at 4 to 8 inches, which is great considering it's in damp sand and with the sensitivity up at 7. I am truly loving this new coil. The ring is 925 silver, not sure if the diamonds are real yet or not, but I am hopeful. Also found a foreign coin of some sort, maybe someone can help me out with that. I love the penny, it's paper thin but you can still make Lincoln out and the memorial on the back.
HH!

Nice finds.
What is EQ2 coil? How much extra weight does it give the Ace?
Salida

The EXcelerator EQ2 Pro, 10 x 14 " DD made by Detech. It does add some weight, not sure how much exactly, but it isn't bad. I do plan on getting an arm extension for my ACE that will hopefully set the CG back a bit, but after a couple of hours using it I hardly notice the added weight.

Looks like you've found yourself a 2008 Ruble/Rouble of whatever denomination is on the other side.

Nice finds:thumbup:

Sweet! It says 1 on the other side. I thought it might be Russian but wasn't sure, thanks!

I use the coil too.
Really doesn't add much mass compared to the stock coil but it sure covers the ground. When hunting a big area you almost feel like you have a fighting chance when sqinging a coil of this size.
Pinpoints just the same as a stock coil so there is really no learning curve with the EQ2.

I tend to agree, the coil is a winner for sure! I don't generally pinpoint with it, I use the "Wiggle Method". Seems to work well for me. Course with a 6" sand scoop you don't really need to worry too much about a perfect PP. :)
