Only good for larger targets. Won't get deeper on coin-sized targets. As a general rule, the bigger the coil, the deeper you go. But there is a point of "diminishing returns" on coin-sized targets. 9 to 10" coil size is usually the point at which you cease to go deeper on coin sized targets, and only go deeper on bigger items. To the extent that you might go deeper on coins, it may be outweighed by increased squirelly-ness, poor pinpointing, etc...

15" is max recommended size for coins and you start losing depth on them as Tom said. The more dirt the machine has to process takes away from sens on small targets.

That huge coil is a bear to swing back and forth all day. You might be able to use a bungee device to support some of the weight, but stopping and starting those back & forth swings will require a lot of endurance. I have a 10x14, and in wet or tall grass, it will really wear you out. And that 18" coil weighs a lot more than the 10x14. I'm sure there are some MD'rs who have found a use for such a huge coil, but it's weight and mass are too much of a drawback for most folks. If you want a really deep coil, that is still sensitive to coin sized targets, you might want to consider the 15" WOT, the 10x14" Excellerator, the 10x12" SEF, or the 12x15" SEF. Plenty of feedback is available on this forum, for the first two coils listed. The SEF coils are too new to have a lot of feedback yet. But some early users, have had some very successful hunts with them. Do a search on this forum, for those coils mentioned...

Like others have said, unless you are looking for very large targets dont waste your money. I found no improvement in depth while coin or relic hunting. About the only advantage I found is if you are hunting a wide open area you definately get more coverage. That being said, the thing is like a truck steering wheel and you will develop Popeye forearms.
