Excelerator 18" coil - anyone with experience?

I would love to hear the pros and cons regarding the 18" Excelerator coil on the Etrac. I have the 6" and love it, but am considering the 18" for plowed fields, ski slopes and the like. My two biggest concerns are how much depth I would get over the pro coil and the weight/balance of such a large coil. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Have seen a video of it in action and the user pretty much had to set it down on the ground at the end of each swing. Depth and pinpointing seemed great. If I remember, it was LA Digger who made the video.

The one I had worked fine but actually lost a little depth on dime and penny size or smaller targets compared to pro coil.Takes a little getting use to with the weight and size of it.A bungee harness would be a good idea unless you are in peek condition strenth & endurance wise.
