Excallibur battery pod

Member
I found my excallibur battery pod that I purchased from Kellyco all cracked up , the first time I went to use it . Last summer when I put it and detector away , it was in perfect condition . Does anyone know if they would replace it free ?? Also I need battery pod plug in end caps desperatly !! If anyone has an extra one or 2 ,even if the pod is no good ,I will buy it .

Those ends caps are hard to come by and for what they are pricy.... $50 to $70. I believe the battery only has 6mos warranty, but of course we'd recommend you contact Kelleyco. I understand the newer ones get may get these visual cracks because the pods are now molded as opposed to being cut out. Are you talking AA or rechargable pod? They are a little different just because one has to be pressure proof. Im told the AA gets more of the stress cracks but it normal and shouldnt be a problem. Call Dave or Berry at Kelleyco repair he should be able to bring u up to speed on what hes seen and knows.
