NO I'M NOT CRAZY READ ONull tab:
I have been water hunting for 3 years. 2 now with the excall with 1000 hrs use and am always trying to work on tuning it and listing to what the tones are telling me well i found a new trick-new to me at least and thought i would share it.
I was hunting one of my private freshwater lakes i hunt once a month and found something out playing around with my settings.
I dig allot of the old beavertail pull tops in the hopes its a deep target or earring and some times dig just the beaver tail part because it sounds so good in dics. Well i decided to check it in PP. Most people that saltwater hunt use pp and check in disc. Well i found that if check it in PP those small beaver tails (not the whole thing just the beaver tail part u know looks like a tear drop) I found that it gives a really crummy signal in pp but pretty good in disc. All big targets coins & rings sounded good in both.
After playing around a little more i found this worked on every single small junky target that gave a good signal in disc.
So for all u who hate digging that little left over tail part check in PP. You will be glad you did give it a shot and happy hunting.
