Hey guys i am retired and going to sale my place and get a motor home. And travel this great country and metal detec, water and land. What does a new excalibur cost ? Thats what i decided to go with and a hooka Any help you can give me would be helpful.Thank you in advance

A new Excalibur II sells for $1198. I would check with some of the sponsors here on Findmall. They will get you the best deal possible and set you up right.

Make sure you get the straight shaft for the Excalibur to make it more comfortable to swing. They run from $79 and up.

I would also recommend getting an extra alkaline battery pack and fill it with the 2600 MAH batteries available on line. And to top it off, get the waterproof Gray Ghost headphones.

You will also need a good sand scoop for the beaches/water and also for the night time a good headlamp to dig when the tide is low at night.

Learn as much as you can about the Excalibur. There is lots to know especially the sounds it makes and how to set it up for conditions.

Sounds like you have a plan. Just remember that if you have to do it, it soon becomes not as fun as if you want to do it.

I don't know of anyone who can fish every day all the time. Or golf. Or metal detect. Sooner or later you will tire of it if you do it every day all the time. Unless you are a crazy man like me. Then you could do it in your sleep too if that was possible.

I would also recommend the E-trac for land hunting although the Excalibur is a very capable land hunter.

Thats what my wife and I did.Sold the home, loaded a 5th wheel trailer a 38 ft Montana and traveled the country for about 5 years. This last year we bought a condo in Myrtle Beach and settled down again. It is a great life traveling and detecting different seeing whats out there.
