Found 1 for 300. never used but it is out of state does any body know of a safe way to buy it soyou dont get taken?
 
I called and got his audex at work so maybe,, I will get lucky.He bought it for his kid who is now in collage and never used it.Its 3 years old.
 
If you can REALLY get it for $300, you will make a killing on resale, even if you NEVER used the unit! BUY IT!
 
why people who know nothing about it get so lucky 300$ great price i just got a used one for 800$
 
I paid $460 or so for my used Excal 800 on Ebay and I needed to buy a new battery ($35) and a knob(s) $14. Took a chance! Scary but it worked out great. Sounds like you may have a real deal! But..........discount like that means you are taking a chance. That's the tradeoff. My Unit's Ebay seller was rated 100% positive on my deal and so am I.....100% positive with well over 100 transactions. It all depends on who you are dealing with. Good luck.

Very good price, Ask questions, use your best judgment and go with you gut feeling. Have it shipped C.O.D.
 
Before you pay, check the serial number with Minelab to see if it is a good number. And, ask for a picture of everything that he is selling for the $300. Insist that he ship it insured with a tracking number too. That's about as safe as you can get when you are dealing with a complete stranger. I have never heard of such a low price, so I would be very cautious!

well i lost out he sold it to the first caller he called back.But he gave me his friends # and said he could probaly help so i will call him.
 
IMHO unless they guy is brain dead that price is 2 good 2 be true & I would give it a lot of thought & decide if I can afford 2 eat the $300.00 or add another $5-600 for repairs

By the way, I plan on selling my Excalibur original "horseshoe style Coil" model. I bought Tony Diana's excellent CD but the sounds of the new ExcaI II are slightly different than my original old unit.
I have been out with it 4 times on beach and found lots of clad coins. Works fine in both All Metal/PinPoint and also Discrimination. The NIMH Battery is brand new. But......I cannot vouch for diving with it.
In my opinion, it would be wise to have Minelab check it out for pressure etc. if one wanted to use it underwater. I have certainly put the coil in the water, no problem but have not submerged the electronic compartment. Have pics. I like it enough to go ahead with an Excal II that is brand new because I want to dive this summer for sure. So, I will likely place it on the classified or Ebay.

Yep i bought it from him for 500 $ and come to find out ,its and original ny model 1993 hand made ,tuned by Gary Storm ,with the original seasearch coil,shaft,and speaker wired headphones in great condition Thank you Darksky for the Gem and the 50$ forum discount,and driving to my side of town to save me 25$ shipping ,now how bought that deal guys hard to beat !!!!!!!! Thank You Russ
