Excalibur wireless headphones

Xp doberman

New member
Has anyone tried to go wireless with Excalibur headphones? Getting ready to replace my stock yellows, would love to eliminate the cord

Two things to think about. Is the wireless module water proof or will you drown it the first time you submerge the detector. Once you submerge the detector you will not get a signal thru the water.

George, was thinking the same, which will the water cause a delay with the signal between the transmitter and the receiver. HH Ron

Wont work under water........ and most wireless phones arent going to survive salt water out there. However if you are using the hard wired yellows ...... i see why you want to get rid of them way to short and tight.

I build RC submarine models. Latest is Alvin. When submerged I have managed to get a signal to 6 ft where I trigger ballast functions and it comes up. After 6 ft, I may get a signal down or not. Pretty sketchy. It has been consistent
