Excalibur Wiggle

I have read where the electronics of the Excal are the same as the Sovereign.Me being a beginner ,and limited by experience and knowledge, I cant figure out why the more advanced hunters are not speaking of the wiggle and the slowness of the pace when using the Excal?

Mainly because most Excal users are beach hunters, so they don't need to wiggle over a deep target to see if it's quality improves in ID and audio. They hear it and they scoop it for the most part. It's when you are land hunting that people want to achieve best target and audio ID on deep targets to decide if it's worth the effort to dig.

Old video from a few years back, quailty Ok
This a winter beach where the targets were far and few, I use the Wiggle in Almetal/PP mode to center my targets when they are faint, clearing away the sand for a better discrimination signal..

Best to find a deep target in one of the modes, disc or PP and do a test of which works best in your area. Then do the swing test on different targets also to determine what is best at that time. I have found conditions can change from day to day at some beachs, where as others change very little. Where are you Hunting If I may ask?
