EXCALIBUR WEIGHT PROBLEM FIX

HERES THE WAY I HAVE MY EXCAL SET UP
THE BALANCE IS GREAT & THERE IS NO STRESS ON THE CORD. THE SET UP IS EZ
JUST A MATTER OF DRILLING 3 HOLES IN THE SHAFT
OFFSETTING THE CONTROAL BOX & SETTING THE BATTERY OFFSET TO THE CONTROAL BOX.
I USE THIS SET UP ON LAND & SEA & HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR 2 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS.
HOPE THIS HELPS
GOOD LUCK ALL
WLTDWIZ

THANKS IT WORKS GREAT & THE CORDS HAVE NO STRESS:thumbup:

I also do a PVC mount with some mods. I made the PVC pipe longer and cut a slot in it at the headset cable end. I then thread the setup onto a divers weight belt and let it hang by my side. The knobs are easy to see. With the slightly longer PVC pipe, I am able to use velcor tie wraps and I secure all the cables to the PVC pipe just after they exit the machine. This prevents any stress on the cable enterences. I can take some pictures and post them if interested.
