Excalibur vs infinium

for the beach and ocean area. and whatever else i could use it for.
I don't know anything about metal detecting. first time was last Saturday. it was fun and Ive been thinking about it and what would be the best detector to buy.
there is some good news about the Excalibur and some bad there is little information about the infinium.

The Excalibur is probably the number one beach ocean unit period.I use a CZ20 for water and a Sovereign for land.I would place the Fisher CZ20 ahead of the Garrett.

Get the straight shaft for better balance and never look back. Your finds will pay for it in a very short time.

I would only give the edge to the Infinium if you wanted to hunt larger gold inland.
Of the two I would pick the Excaliber if your going to be risking the detector in the water. If its just top of beach and dry sand then save money and get a Sovereign. Cheaper to buy, cheaper to repair. You could afford better headphones, a better coil as you would have the option to change coils. Its lighter and more advanced especially if you went for the GT.
