What are the charge times for the Minelab Excalibur rechargeable batteries?

Hey Waterdog, I replied on the water forum, but try this. I charge 24 hours before a hunt and the unit is hot and ready to hunt. When I hunt, it's 6-8 hours and the unit does not even act like it's running low on juice. I never discharge it or deviate from this procedure. Give it a whirl.

you'll get 2 hour recharge times and 14 hrs +/- run time. Storage time is a couple of weeks between hunts. Why Minelab hasn't updated the battery system is anybody's guess.

Where do you get a smart charger and the Nicad battery change over for a Minelab Excalibur?

I found Batteries Plus in the local area! They are Great. Rebuilt my rechargeable battery pack with brand new rechargeable batteries. They did this for half the price of buying a new new Rechargeable pack.
