Excalibur rebuild needed.

Guys, I just bought an Excalibur 1000 on eBay as is the wiring is all shot. It doesn’t have a battery or headphones. It looks really really rough and needs all the wiring to be replaced. I contacted mine lab and their prices were way too high. Does anybody repair metal detectors that is not quite as expensive. I really need a waterproof metal detector but if I can’t repair it cheaper, I’m just going to have to sell it again as is. If you’ve got one for sale, please let me know. Even the coil on this is all held together with little straps. I just hope the machine works.

As far as repairing its going to cost you no matter who fixes them and hopefully it still works as it should.

A few years ago I purchased three just like it for 187.oo dollars, by luck all three worked but I ended up parting two of them out. The Excalibur II I fixed and gave to a friend. As you can see there was not much worthy to save.
