Excalibur or CZ-21?

I am looking for advice on beach and surf detectors. I have done a little research and found that the two that I like the best are the Fisher CZ-21 and the Minelab Excalibur
1000 with the 10" coil. Since both of these are high ticket items I would like to be able to get the best I can afford and would appreciate any advice one way or the other on these two. I am also open to suggestions on any others that I may have over looked. I have a White XLT and have used it for several years on both land and beach but I want something I can take into the water. I am not a diver so I don't care about deep searching capabilities. I did have a White Beach Hunter ID but it didn't really work out well for me and I sold it last year. So, what say you? Thanks for any and all info.

iv owned 3 CZ20/21 and 4 Excal's.they are about the same in depth.CZ21 is better made but has 2 year warranty and 4x9volt batt's gets costly.Excal has 4 year warranty and a rechargeble NIMH pod.CZ21 likes Iron where the Excal will null on it. for me its the Excal !
