Excalibur: My Solution To Wire Stress At The Pod

First remove the plug in the end of the straight rod.

I took a piece of 1/2" CPVC tubing and cemented a "T" on the end. Cut away enough ot the "T" to leave a " shelf " on the bottom of the T as shown in the pic. Cut the pipe so it goes 1" past the bolt in the rod, mark and drill your hole.

Then I used electrical tape and wrapped it around the portion that goes into the rod, on each side of the hole, just enough to make it fit snug in the rod.

I wrapped tape around the wire itself ( for protection ) and then set the wire on the "shelf " and taped it in place.

The only thing I'm going to do that's not in the pictures, is tape all the way to where the wire starts to coil.

Very simple, neat, and efective.....Thanks for looking .
