Excalibur Mount And Stand

Here are some pics of the mount and stand I made for my Excalibur. The mount is aluminum and the stand keeps the machine 6" above the ground.

By keeping the stand toward the rear, I do not have a problem at all when I swing the unit. I plan on incorporating an aluminum, tubular knob guard on the stand mount and eliminating the current guard.

Someone mentioned concern about mounting the stand on the machine itself instead of the shaft for fear of damaging the unit if it got hit. If tie wraps are not used the stand would come of it it were hit. I choose the location because I didn't like it forward of the machine on the shaft on the Excalibur. I do have it forward on my dirt machines and it is fine.

If you use it for dirt or woods hunting....great plan and needed.

Please advise

It's not to lay down when hunting, it's to lay down when NOT HUNTING.
