EXCALIBUR LOOP PINPOINTING SWEET SPOT???

Hey there gang,

Took my new Excalibur out for an initial test run (I'll post my experience soon), and I have a question about pinpointing.

Whats the sweet spot on the loop when pinpointing??? I know with the DFX and the Surf PI Pro, its the hole in the center of the loop. But I cannot for the life of me figure out where it is on the new Excalibur, and I find I have to dig the entire area under and around the loop to get the target. :rage:

Swing sideways.......locate.............. slide back towards you............the target should be at the top of the coil....... place scoop at the end of your toes........scoop....... retreive.....move on to another target............. HH Gayle

hi there, i can say that on my excal 1000 , the sweet spot is in front of the plastic bolt where the BBS 1000 label is..actually between the BBS and 1000 ..depending on the depth of the object, this rule applies to about 4", the the deeper the object ,after 4" the closer to centre it becomes.. this is using pin point mode
