Excalibur Knob Question.................

JoeSWFLA

New member
Just got a used Excal. The knobs are very stiff and take some
pressure to turn. Is this normal on the Excal. Thanks Joe

I would say that is about right Joe. There is some reasonably needed pressure to turn the knobs. They are pretty tight as compared to other brands, in my opinion.

Hello,JoeSWFLA..
I have an Excaliber, and I've noticed,as in all the Juntions(Seals)the Knobs are using Rubber 0- Rings.Maybe a little SILICON Sealant is needed, use only the stuff from your local DIVE SHOP!!Ken.

Check the O-rings: usually the harder they turn the newer they are, but sometimes a no-well rinsed salt presence could do the same.
