Excalibur II False signals...in every wave in the sea

Try putting a little silicone lubricant around the battery gasket and threads and tighten the cap well. Might work ...might not.

I hunt on west coast in heavy black sand...its all about getting the sensitivity right...keep turning it down till it stabelizes....im sure u tried that...i keep mine around 2 or 3 o'clock...good luck

volume-full sensetivity-straight up 12 oclock threshold-barley audibule ...... wave action will often cause a small false signal... this is somewhat normal.... turning the sensetivity down--slightly clockwise --will usually lessen the amount of falsing you get ,but will also affect your depth... for best results set the sensetivity as high as you can and still be able to tell false signal from good target.... after some practice you should be able to tell good targets from falsing ...... from the looks of your finds you are doing just fine.... happy hunting....

THE SETUP I USED WAS

SENSITIVITY: 7

THRESHOLD: AUDIBLE

VOLUME: MAX

DISCRIMINATION: 3

THANKS YOU ALL FOR THE ADVISES
