Excalibur II Battery

Is the only option for an Excal II waterproof battery the stock one?
I see they're approx $170 is that about right or has someone bought one recently for less?

I bought a pristine condition 10" model that was recently serviced by Minelab but the owner misplaced the battery so I need to get one and want it dive capable.
Thank you

No..... you can buy Lith and Maxxpack replacement batteries and put them in your pod. Its an easy swap. They will increase your battery from a 1000 mah..... up to 1600 mah for the Maxxpack and even more with the Lith. Also recommend their SMART charger which will charge a battery mega fast and has shut off as well as have a light to tell you its charged. I suspect, depending on how deep you dive, you could use the AA battery pod with one of these batteries as well if you seal it properly.

Thank you for the info, I don't have a pod to modify so I ordered one from Windy City Detectors, Thanks Ron
