Excalibur headphone question?????????????????.

Hey, it,s freezing here in Michigan, so it gives me time to prepare for spring of 2009. My question is when detecting with the minelab Excalibur, when my head goes under water my headphones fill with water. I am not sure if the stock headphones on the Excalibur are suppose to keep water out or not. Please shed some light on this subject for me. I normally only go neck high when detecting. But one day I went under and water got into the h phones and in my ears. I still could hear targets faintly, but wondered if this was the way it was suppose to be. I know in the future I may send it in for better phones to be installed by minelab.

yep,if you notice they should have a drain hole at the bottom..all the under water head phones iv seen fill up..i do think the Grey Ghost are the best though.
