Excalibur 8

Hey guys a couple of questions for you.

I'm hoping to pick up an Excall soon and I see that adding a larger coil like the WOT or SEF is a popular modification. My biggest question is which stock coil would be better to have, to compliment the larger WOT or SEF? I have been using a PI for about a year now and there are a few beaches that are just kicking my butt because of the trash.. That has me thinking that the 8" would give me the maximum advantage to pick through the trash?? Is there much of a difference between the 8"and 10"?

My other pressing question is how reliable are the waterproof connectors? I saw on the coiltek site that they sell a "Excalibur WOT" that includes waterproof connectors in the kit. My PI uses interchangeable coils and I really like the idea of being able to match coils to the conditions. I guess I should mention that I don

IMHO go with either one Once U put the larger coil on it will most likely stay there As for the waterproof connector I have had one on for almost 2 years and hunt 4-6 days a week with no leaks (I guess the name of the game is INSTALL IT CORRECTLY)
U will not be digging all the trash that U did with the PI and that makes all the difference in the world

Erikk,
Which connectors are you using?

Thanks,
Steve
