20 small diamons set in white gold, surrounded by silver...hit while in disc., about 12 inches deep, at the bottom of 4 foot cut on the beach at high tide mark..sounded like a bottle cap at first...but something sounded different...higher pitch of silver..took one scoop...swung coil....then heard the Gold..stoped by beach tonight for 1 hour..found this and a buck in change...

good thing it is round , that helped , but white gold is a hard one to find, congradulations on the nice find

Very Nice! Starting to pay for itself already..........

Well done on that!
Essentially, that target would have been out of reach at 5 ft...is that correct? (my math is shocking!)

Many years ago, with Excalibur 1, I scanned a 3 ft cut and dug a UK

Not sure why it is, but white gold seems to sound
a little bit different to me too. Still a sweet sound
though for sure. Congrats to you on a nice find.
Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

congratulations! that is a nice taste of gold -n- diamonds.

Thanks everyone..I listened to it again at home...It sounds more like silver at first ...as it gets closer to coil..it changes to more anomoly gold..ive only had excal for two weeks and am learning quick..going to get the gear and venture out into the water in front of the boardwalk, next to the peir, here in town...! I dont see many people with metal detectors here..let alone water hunting...im sure its ripe for the pickings(right situation, storms, currents,ect.)...Happy hunting everyone
