Excalibur 11 Tether Issue

I was after some info on the Excalibur 11 and how do I attache a cord / cable to the headphone and main cable so it wont get damaged when detecting. ( Just to tether it to avoid damage) just on the cable end if this makes sense This is when its hip mounted
