excaliber 800 new coil

just bought a used excaliber 800 going to put a larger coil on it thinking of a sunray s12 or a wot any suggestions?

nice detector, ive had a WOT and found it to be a heavy coil after twenty minutes or so. i use a sunray S-12 now and can still cover some ground and its feather lite and it will go deep . its just my opinion, i see guys out in the farm fields using WOTS and the weight doesnt seem to bother them . like i said its just my opinion but i feel sunrays and im not pushing sunrays. i feel they run better then coiltec's on minelab detectors.

My Excalibur 800 is currently at Minelab being converted over to an S-12 Sunray coil, I have used the WOT coil on my Sov's in shallow water, lots of drag, thus the smaller S-12 on the Excalibur, which would be similar to the factory 10" coil I believe in drag.IMHO, both coils will work well, it was a tough decision for me! H.H. :)
