can anybody help me with the seals on excal the owners manual dosent say to use silicone on any of them which ones do i use it on the one on the battery pod seems like a likely suspect and what kind do i use and how often thanks GODZILLA

The only one the you have to Keep and eye for is the one on the alkaline batteries wen you replace them.add some silicone lubricant on the oring that all i contacted minelab and they don't recommend any lubricant on the seal the is on the batterie terminal! the one t for the connection on the terminals! i hope the this help !
PS make sure the before you put the batteries pack back together is clean from sand or any other junk !

The rubber "doughnut" seal on the battery pods is the only one that is user serviceable. Use a light coat of pure silicone grease available from a dive shop (they use it to lube regulators) this is the best silicone paste I have found, put it on both sides of the rubber seal each time you charge it and you will be fine.
