EXCAL & WOT

Russ in AL

New member
Hey Guys,
New to this forum and I'm sure this has been ask before, but here goes.
I'm considering putting a WOT 15 on my Excal 1000, what kind of success or problems does this create? Problems with pinpointing?
Thanks for your time and help.

One problem any larger coil produces is the affect of any metal near it. Change in your pocket, your metal scoop, belt buckle, cell phone, rivets in you boots, steel shanks, you get the picture. While you scoop won't sound off when carried on your shoulder rest assure the coil knows it's there and has to work harder. But in all metal mode it will react to the scoop up there. Its like hunting around electrical noise its just another input to deal with.Lots of seasoned hunters use a much much smaller scoop with a wooden handle to lesson the mass of metal near larger coils. Lots of hunters don't know this as they never tried to hunt without all that mass around them. Don't tell anyone it's a secret. Oops!

I love it!!!!!

Been there and got the T-shirt!!!
