Excal with Red head set and Seasearch coil, should i change it?

atrembla

New member
i have the older Excal with Red head set, and a seasearch coil, should I change it to a newer model or does this one do the job? I just started and work mostly on the beach in Florida.

Definitely stick with what you have....unless you have equipment problems.

Tony.

Hey,if you decide to get rid of it just send me a message and I'll be pleased to take it off your hands.Personally, I find the Seasearch coil much easier to use in the water than the 10" coil as fitted to the Excal II

If its not broke don't try to fix it, other than maybe a straight rod if it don't have one already, the difference is amazing
