Excal Water Hunt Video

Found a few coins, jewelry and odds and ends. Here is the link http://youtu.be/uIWfLCeXWO0 Thanks for looking.

That water looked nice and cool. What a great way to spend a hot summer day.

Hello Booty Hunter. Very nice Video Thank you for sharing. Your Scoop has inside perforated screen. Would you please tell me where I can get it? Thank you, Greg.

Thanks for another great video; it always relaxes me to view a water hunt like yours. It's calm, low key, makes me feel like I'm in the drivers seat out in the cool lake digging up the good stuff but you make it looks much easier than I do! I also like your scoop with the mesh wire in it. Was that something you added or did it come like that. Love that excal too! If I ever get lucky to make the good finds to finance one then I can see one of those coming my way as a good possibility. Keep those videos coming!

Thank you. The screen inside is simply gutter guard purchased from the local hardware store, then cut to fit with tin snips. I just cut it as a really close fit and placed it in the scoop and it just sits in there without being secured any other way. I cut 2 pieces, 1 for the bottom of the scoop and another that wraps around the inside of the scoop. It works great as I have recovered several small stud earrings and other very small items that use to slip through the scoop holes. It was a very cheap fix to an aggravating problem and was my friend mtwolf2270, who is a forum member, idea. Thanks mtwolf2270!

Thank you for the kind comments, I'm glad you enjoy the videos. I am posting an Excal 1000, not the one I use in my videos, in the classifieds today and could be an affordable option for you. It is a great detector that looks and works great and I have it as a backup to my Excal II but as I have learned my PI more and more I am going to part with the backup Excal 1000 because I can use the cash right now. Good luck to you! ps I am asking $850 shipped includingh a coil cover, battery charger and manual. Thanks

Thanks BootyHunter; I am sure the excal will sell quick. I really wish I could do it but I've gotta make my current detector make some gold finds first to pay for a new machine. I like my Tiger Shark too but was looking at an Excal as an option that would also work great in salt water and get me more depth than the Tiger. I was also considering a PI unit but not sure how bad it would punish me in my freshwater lake hunts with every little sliver of iron trash.

Very cool video indeed, the water is a lot clearer there than mine, I like the scoop you have a great set up! Like you video's a lot thumbs up! HH tigerhank68
