Excal spin on 05-24 PM.......925 my way......

Went for a spin with Huntress last night. It was her maiden voyage with her new Head Hunter Wader. I was running the Excal and we were hunting a trashy surf area. Began the spin around 730pm into a 946pm -0.3L. Had a good treasure to trash ratio, but did not set the world on fire. Ended up with $1.54 in clad and a .925 filigree ring and I was glad to see it. We bailed at midnight and Huntress was already napping in the truck. Guess I wear her out. Sent the Mark II off to it's new owner today, so I am currectly PI-less. Guess I will be getting very intimate with the Excal till MrBill gets the Aquasearches in. Huntress is heavily armed now with Ace 250, Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II and Head Hunter Wader. I'm down to Ace 250 and Excal 1000. Oh well how many rigs can you swing at a time anyway?

It ain't so bad bda, I got enough for the rig and coil to pay for Huntress new Head Hunter Wader. As long as I can liquidate enough equipment to buy new stuff I'm good. Kinda like a mding slush fund ya know? The Aquasearch will kinda bankrupt the fund though, ($1500 and NO DEAL) the deal is you get 1.

She loves the weight loss and the ability to hunt trashy surf areas with me. She did not want the weight of the Excal though and we don't hip mount things around here. Wire overstress has bit us before. Guess I will be hip mounting Aquasearch soon unless there is a clean way to mount control housing on the stem, but it'll probably break me before I break it right?

with the Aquasearch. It's not a good move. Coiling the cable around the pole causes a lot of problems. The detector is able to see the coil wire at maximum sensitivity, and coiling it enhances this. The coiled cable shielding doesn't take it to kindly to being bent at such radical bends such as wrapping around the pole.

It may sound strange, but the coil cable is quite a special cable, that's one of the reasons that Eric Foster units have the performance edge over all others.

Hey, he's the man that invented the PI detector, he should know. :)
