Okay let's see if I have this right. The Excalibur will tell you when the settings aren't matching the conditions? Say I'm in an area with clean ground and no targets under the coil...if the threshold nulls continuously while sweeping the coil it means something is set wrong. Is that correct so far? So if that is the case, I noticed when I lowered my sensitivity I started to be able to keep a s. teady threshold without nulling. Now my sensitivity is considerably low to achieve this. I think the actual number is 4-5 to keep the threshold steady. Is that how you guys read the language of each particular site? Just adjust the threshold to a steady buzz then adjust sensitivity to keep it steady and not null over the ground itself?
