Excal separating coil repair

Here an update on my coil. Fist I epoxied (2 coats) then i put 4 coat of the spray on bed liner.
I hope it holds up. Now back to the straight shaft.

Thanks, for all your suggestions

That bedliner is good stuff! It comes off over time but it's a snap to just spray another coat on there and be ready for the next day.

Epi,
I used to do the same thing, now I just use the epoxy.
It comes in a off white color now (used to be grey) so it's easy to see
black starting to show indicating you have rubbed down to the coil.
No sense in the bed liner since it's not nearly as tough as the epoxy, and since
your taping a neat line might as well epoxy it!
Kinda neat to see which part of the coil you tend to wear out first, like a pair of soles on
your shoes-- one side wears faster than the other!
Good luck

Now we know who we can send our coils too! Nice Job!
