Excal or Beach Hunter for Cape

desmond

New member
I'm visiting my old stomping grounds later in the summer on the Cape. I do about 50% wet sand there and 50% in water as many of the beaches the surf is too big to get in the water. I only can bring one detector. I was going to go with the Excal 2, but the Beach Hunter does seem to shine in wet sand. Suggestions? Des in Buffalo

Take your Excal after more practice.....

Thanks so much Gold Nuggets. I'll give you a report. Des

Seriously, Des, I think you will do better with the Excal. Anyway,
Wish you the best.......... Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

I've never used the Beach Hunter but my Excal has never let me down, wet/dry sand or in the water. Good luck and let us know what you find. HH John
