Since it was in the mid 80s this weekend, I decided I better hit the local swimming hole before someone else did.

I have a great lake next to a campground, What do you think would be a good setting for fresh water hunting with the Excal 1000. I have the beach covered pretty good setting wise but fresh water I only tried once.

Thanks:blink:

I use my salt water settings and they work fine.

Good luck!

Well, the storm is just starting. I thought it might start early this morning as forecast but it didn't happen. Anyway, it was a fun day, your looking at about 3 hrs. work. A guy with a Excal. 2 like mine was swinging like he was in a race. What is with these guys in S. Jersey? :ranting:and most of them wont even return a wave:surrender:...beats me. I will be hitting the beach again @ first light after the storm tomorrow. Man I'm having fun. I'll let you all know how I do and hopefully gold will be on the menu
