Excal low volume underwater

bucketweet

New member
A friend of mine is a little hard of hearing and is wondering if there is a way to modify the Excal to accept a light that is activated when the coil detects a signal. I was thinking possibly mounted in the cord of the headphones.

Any input would be appreciated,

Thanks,

Dale in Santa Cruz, Ca.

Has he considered a vibrator (got to watch what I'm saying here) unit? Whites used them for many years on their underwater P.I.'s. Might get more idea of tone. Stick the unit under the edge of the wet suit. I expect SunRay do a waterproof connector.

A friend that is deaf mounted a light on the face of his diving mask that was hooked somehow into the headphone cord? Instead of a tone he got a light. I guess a combination of the light and vibrator would be great for hard of hearing.
