excal headphone change

I bought used excal 800, it had old pair of plezios(almost positive this is their name) on it I didnt like them the cusions on them made my head sweat, plus im no big fan of headphones. I know people put them on to hear signals better but I still like earbuds and some earbuds work really great. I bought two cheap submersible pairs off ebay I bought one ikelite male connector from ikelite not ebay its cheaper. I took old ikelite from the headphones and rigged up the two submersible earbuds . They work but one side is louder than the other and help why this is happening?, thanks poptop

You wired a stereo to a mono and may have got wires mixed up.
Try some experiments with the 3 wires to your earbuds to see which is common wire, which is left only and right only.(If you have 3 wires)
If you have 4 wires to the buds then you should have a common and signal to each bud.
Need more info to know what could have gone wrong .... how many wires in the main cord to the buds.

2 wires or 3 one is like cloth but they are so thin really crazy to work with you have to be very carefull taking rubber off when you cut into them I pretty much closed it up and just gonna go with it for now im sure they wont last long I made two sets, and when one goes I will order more off ebay, one side is faint and one side is loud I like it so much better than the headphones, I havent been able to go thanks to tropical storm debbie soon though
