Excal Finds day after Memorial day 5 rings!

:detecting:Well got to say i LOVE my new excal. I hunted 2 fresh water swim areas that were hit hard before i got to either of them.
I found 5 rings and some change pretty good with seasoned pros pounding them before i could get there. The excall sure goes deep i was finding stuff over a foot deep.
All my finds were in waist to chest deep water. I love my excal I cant wait to get back out there. Next time with dive gear and get the deep stuff.
I alsobrought a long a buddy and he used my tesoro tiger shark and found a Gold cross and chain. Just goes to show a Place is never hunted out and you only find gold if your coil goes over it!
Thanks
HH

Insane ! I know that's a dream day but that's exactly why I'm looking to get a good water machine. Good job.

That's Great Finds anytime and anywhere. Don't take long to pay for your equipment with finds like those. HH :minelab:

Nice hunting and many more to come I am sure. It amazes me how some find everything and go over areas well hunted to do so. Maybe the Indian has a lot to do with it and not the arrow. I am sure you will continue to find over others in the future. It will not make a whole ot of difference what you have in your hand it is what you listen for and hear that makes you successful. I am learning and see all different machines on the local beach and think there can be nothing here. I slow down and listen and lo and behold I get hits. It amazes me how many nickels other leaves behind while hunting. If they leave nickels they are leaving other items even more desireable for us to locate. LIsten ans dig and let your eyes tell you what the object is---even the best of machines can lie. I learned this very early with a gold cross and three machines(two different brands - two were excals-The best) would not even register while partially exposed in the sand. I say this while owning two Whites machines and am satisfied with both.

Thear is probley more being deposited than you can ever dig , water detecting is hard work not everyone is willing to do it or be patient , boy that is a great detector

Looks like you did pretty good

You are bitten by the Excal bug!

I just replied to another post where you were WAITING for the machine. Like I said, with the Excal you can't go wrong. Pretty amazing machine and worth every cent.

Your right there about being hard work and as for time in the water most people leave after an hour or two with min. finds i stay for at least 5 hrs
and most days ten if i can last that long as the water will wear you out sometimes too,I work fresh water lakes and start detecting them when the water still has ice
floating in them and call it quits when it gets ice back on it,Having a 5 ring day is a good day, having a 5 ring day with gold in the mix is a great day:thumbup:
keep up the good work
