Excal died !!

Took my Excal out for a hunt on Sunday at the Jersey Shore...here's a pic of my finds. And...right after I found the Skull and Crossbones, my Excal died! :veryangry: No Joke! It wouldn't keep a threshold, and it was bouncing all over the place. Hopefully it was just a dying battery, I put it on for a long charge, and re-tested in my yard and it was stable. Gonna try again this weekend, crossing my fingers that it's stays stable.

Ouch! Looks like you were doing pretty good up to that moment. Hope it's nothing serious. HH!

Sounds like the battery for sure, when mine gets real low it all over the place, but I carry my back up pod with me, so I'm good to go. Gene

Yep, sounds like the battery. When my Sov GT battery starts to die the threshold becomes very loud and continuous and it cannot be adjusted. Nothing to do but change the battery and charge the dead one. Hope this is the only problem but from what you describe it sure sounds like it. --Jerry
