Excal battery terminal question.

Dirt Poor

New member
I'm having some good luck with the Excal, and I like it better than any other water machine I have used, so far. I'm not in salt water, but noticed when I unscrewed the battery pod connection that the terminals were wet. No leakage of the pod, but perhaps I didn't screw the connector cap on tight enough? The machine acted a little erratic this morning, but I was at a different place where there was red clay under the sand, and I think there were areas of high mineralization. Also, I don't know how much "juice" I had left in the battery pack. May have needed a recharge. Did find a couple rings, but not gold. One heavy Tungsten ring and one 925 silver. How tight should the connector be for the batteries? I don't want to over-tighten or under-tighten. Thanks.

Not too tight.....

Put a lil Silicone grease on the threads... and spin it on until it snug.. The give it another light twist.
