Excal battery pack

Just went to charge up the battery & noticed there was a damp spot on the disilicate packet in the battery case. What are my options?

Just took the cap off of the battery pod & will let it dry out. Tried to remove the battery pack itself, but it doesn't want to cooperate. Would like to put another disilicate pack in then re -grease the O ring.

Was it salt or fresh water? If it was fresh water just let it dry out, clean out any debris, replace the o-ring and apply a light coating of silicone to the new o-ring. If it was salt water I would take the battery out, clean the terminals and battery off with alcohol and then the same steps as above.
